Reticulum vehicle SPV oak files to take sole control of RWA Czechia

On 15 October 2026 the Czech competition authority ÚOHS opened merger proceedings (case ÚOHS-S0760/2026/KS) on a filing by SPV oak, s.r.o., Prague, under which SPV oak would acquire sole control of RWA Czechia s.r.o., based in Unhošť. According to ÚOHS, the transaction mainly concerns distribution of supplies for primary agricultural production, trading in agricultural commodities and services to farmers. Third parties may submit objections within five days of publication of the notice. The Czech business register lists Reticulum Agro, a. s. as SPV oak's sole shareholder since 23 September 2026, and Austria's RWA International Holding GmbH as the sole owner of RWA Czechia. ÚOHS does not name the seller, and no price or terms have been disclosed.

Our take The acquirer is a holding vehicle whose ownership passed to Reticulum Agro only three weeks before the filing, so this looks like a purpose-built platform buy rather than a bolt-on. For a domestic buyer, a farm-inputs distributor that also trades agricultural commodities brings ready-made relationships with growers and a balance sheet that swings with crop prices — working capital is where the diligence will sit.
