On 14 October 2026 the Lithuanian Competition Council cleared DHL eCommerce International Holdings to acquire 100% of the shares in Venipak Lietuva, Venipak Latvija and Venipak Eesti and take sole control of them. The notification was received on 14 September 2026; the Council found that the deal would not create or strengthen a dominant position or significantly restrict competition. According to the Council, DHL eCommerce International Holdings had no operations in Lithuania before the deal; the group is present there through DHL Lietuva (DHL Express) and DHL Logistics Lietuva (DHL Global Forwarding), which hires local partners for road haulage. The three Venipak companies deliver parcels, carry freight and provide contract logistics. Estonia's Competition Authority approved the concentration on 15 September 2026 (decision no. 5-5/2026-032); its decision states that the share purchase agreement was signed on 26 June 2026 between DHL eCommerce International Holdings B.V. and VENIPAK B.V. No Latvian decision has appeared in the Latvian Competition Council's news so far. No price has been disclosed.
