Aberdeen Infrastructure (Holdco) IV-B B.V. of Amsterdam notified Poland's competition authority on 31 August of its intention to acquire control of PPP Solutions Polska 2 sp. z o.o. of Warsaw, to be exercised jointly with Gülermak Invest sp. z o.o. The case was published on 1 September and is under review. PPP Solutions Polska 2 is the company responsible for developing and delivering stage IV of the Kraków Fast Tram under a public-private partnership with the City of Kraków; its remit covers project delivery, long-term operational management, maintenance and availability management of the infrastructure. Aberdeen Infrastructure (Holdco) IV-B is an investment holding company within the Aberdeen group, which provides investment, wealth management and financial planning services to institutional and retail clients, intermediaries and wholesale participants, as well as to charities, funds and foundations, operating internationally and serving clients in around 80 countries. Gülermak Invest is an investment holding company within the Gülermak group, an international engineering, construction and investment group active in Turkey and other markets; its core business is designing and building infrastructure and industrial facilities, in particular metro, rail, tram, tunnel and road projects, as well as bridges, dams, industrial plants and power generation facilities. Terms were not disclosed and the clearance has not been granted.
